Why are there no carriers with dominant pedigrees?

Dominant alleles are always expressed. A carrier, by definition, "carries" an allele for a specific trait but does not express the trait (its phenotype). Therefore, an individual cannot be a carrier of a dominant allele as dominant alleles are always expressed.
