what is js 6x+5=3x+14 ​

Subtract 5 from both sides.

6x+5-5=3x+14-5

Simplify.

6x=3x+9

Subtract 3x from both sides.

6x-3x=3x+9-3x

Simplify.

3x=9

Divide both sides by 3.

x = 3
