2x²-5x-3  = 0

∆ = b² -4ac      a=2  and b= -5  and  c= -3

X1 = (-b-√∆ )/2a  = (5-7)/4 = -1/2

X2 = (-b+√∆ )/2a  = (5+7)/4 = 3
