Artists use the principles of art to make their art more appealing to any person, and basically just make any art piece look right (ik that sounds weird, but i guess that's just how it is.)

there is proportion, variety, shape, space, volume, depth, perspective, and other things like that, that when they are put together in an art piece, they will look good together, and the piece will seem more complete.
