slope of the line
(6-1) / (-5-0)
5 / -5
-1

General equation of the line
y = -x + c
if this passes through (0,1)
0 = (-1*1) + c
c = 1

so the equation is
y = -x + 1

Answer:

y – 6 = -1(x + 5)

Step-by-step explanation:

You have to use point slope form which is (y - y1) = m(x - x1)

You then have to figure out the slope which is y1 - y2/x1 - x2

Next is to plug in your slope and first set of coordinates. y - 6 = -1(x +5)

I believe im right.
