You have to multiply by 16's and then divide the two numbers

You need to divide the total number 264 pages by the number of times it is repeated (Hallie has 10 times and Janet has 1 time so divide 264 by 11 which equals 24 so Janet has to read 24 pages and Hallie has to read 10 times that which equals 240. Added together they equal 264.
