= 20/9
=2 2/9

5/12 / 3/16 Cross multiply 5 and 16 over 12 and 3 80 / 36 Which equals 2.22222 It's right because if you put this into a decimal problem 0.4166666/ 0.1875 = 2.222 All this can then be simplified to 20/9
