What is the minimum number of states that a candidate needs to win in order to win the election? what are those states?

The minimum amount of states is 11, those states being California, Texas,Florida,Pennslyvania, Illinois, Ohio,Michigan, New jersey, Georgia, And North Carolina. Hope this helps!

There are a total of 538 electoral votes. In order to become President, a candidate needs to win one more than half, or 270.
