Answer : The volume of a sample of pure iron is, 0.635 ml

Solution : Given,

Mass of pure iron = 5 gram

Density of pure iron = 7.87 g/ml

Formula used :

[tex]\text{Density of pure iron}=\frac{\text{Mass of pure iron}}{\text{Volume of pure iron}}[/tex]

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get the volume of pure iron.

[tex]7.87g/ml=\frac{5g}{\text{Volume of pure iron}}[/tex]

[tex]\text{Volume of pure iron}=0.635ml[/tex]

Therefore, the volume of a sample of pure iron is, 0.635 ml
