Answer:

This calculation must be done in two parts. Use the time period to find the frequency then use the frequency and wavelength to find the wave speed

Time period = 1 ÷ frequency.

0.42 = 1 ÷ frequency.

frequency = 1 ÷ 0.42.

= 2.38 Hz.

wave speed = frequency × wavelength.

wave speed = 2.38 × 0.34.

= 0.809 m/s.
