The formula for the Volume(V) of a cylinder is,

[tex]V=πr^2h[/tex]

Given

[tex]\begin{gathered} V=1584\pi cm^3 \\ r=12cm \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore,

[tex]\begin{gathered} 1584\pi=\pi(12)^2h \\ \therefore h=\frac{1584\pi}{\pi(12)^2}=11 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Hence,

[tex]h=11cm[/tex]
