Celine is knitting a scarf. the finished length will be 1.2 meters. so far she has knitted 0.8meters. how many more meters does celine need to knit? draw a number line to solve

Celine has already knitted 0.8 meters. Her final result should be 1.2 meters. 
To calculate how many meters Celine has to knit we should subtract the alreadu knitted length of scarf from the entire length. This give the equation:\
X=1.2m-0.8m
X is the unknown 
X=0.4 meters
