the ratio of isabellas money to shanes money is 3:11. If isabella has $33, how much money do Shane and Isabella have together?

[tex] \frac{3}{11} = \frac{33}{n} [/tex]

Since 3 x 11 = 33 we can multiply the denomiator (11) by 11 and get 121
So Shane has $121

Together they have $121 + $33 or $154.00
