First we must divide 9 by 3.

9/3 = 3

Then multiply it by 8

3*8 = 24. Hope this helps!

If eight students lose their metro cards every three weeks then in six weeks sixteen will have lost theirs, and in nine weeks twenty-four will have lost theirs. (I think I did that right)
