Yes, so start by solving for y by subtracting everything else to the opposite side of the = from y. 

1. y = 5 - x
2. y  = x - 1

Now that we have our two equations in point-slope form, we can create graphs.

Our point-slope form is y = mx + b where m = slope of line and b = y-intercept.

The slope of equation 1. is -1 and the slope of equation 2. is 1

The y-intercept (how much the line goes up or down on the y-axis) for equation 1. is 5 and the y-intercept of equation 2. is -1
