I believe that all genes are composed of specific sequences of DNA molecules. A gene is  the basic functional unit of heredity, they are made up of DNA molecules and act as instructions to make molecules called protein through gene expression. Genes may vary in size from a few hundred DNA bases to more than 2 million bases.
